Olympic Rings by Andy Warhol x Jean-Michel Basquiat
With the start of the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London, the collaborative 1985 Olympic Rings painting by Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat is now on display at the city’s Gagosian Gallery. The piece was inspired by the 1984 Summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles and is now part of a group of collaborative artworks produced by the two between 1983 and 1985. It measures 81 1/8″ x 183 1/2″ and will remain for viewing until August 11, 2012.
