Olympics – Dream Team 1992 vs. 2012
Hypebeast is holding a poll for basketball fans, as they want to know which Dream Team (1992 or 2012) you believe will have had a better showing at the Olympics. NBA TV – “The Dream Team” Documentary
The Dream Team, which included American greats such as Jordan, Ewing, Bird, Johnson, Robinson, Barkley, Pippen, Malone, Stockton, Drexler, and Mullen was the most dominant basketball team ever to be assembled. Decimating opposing teams by an average of 40 points at the 1992 Summer Olympic Games in Barcelona, the “NBA-led Dream Team cruised to an emphatic gold medal for the United States.” NBA TV is to premiere The Dream Team documentary on June 13th (9pm EST), which treats us to an “inside look at the selection process, the on-court battles and trash-talking during practices, and everything else leading up to the Games themselves.”
